Hotel Bellevue's New Crush
Wine tastings in Woodinville
We have a confession. Hotel Bellevue has a little crush. While it has more to do with grapes than matters of the heart, it still sets our heart aflutter every fall.
August through October is the prime time for Washington’s ample grape harvest, and every year, we’re deliciously reminded of the vinous gem in our own backyard—Woodinville wine country.
The Woodinville wine industry got its start with the inception of the Chateau Ste. Michelle in 1976. Since then, the area has grown tremendously and now there are more than 50 world-class wineries. Though most of the wineries in Woodinville grow their grapes in Eastern Washington because of the warm climate, they offer a great opportunity to sample their wines and gain insight only a few minutes from Hotel Bellevue. If you’re interested in a cellar tour or tasting, most of the wineries are open to the public or available by appointment.
This year, our big crush has led to a great opportunity for Bellevue Club members and Hotel guests. Book our specially designed wine package August through October and enjoy a perfectly paired complimentary local wine and cheese tray. In addition, each guest will receive winery information and tour schedules for any local winery they choose. Enjoy the fruits of the labor from Washington’s most exciting winemakers. |
