Hot Rods and Spare Ribs:
BC Car Show and barbecue this month
Bellevue Club members, start your engines. It’s time to bring that souped-up muscle car sitting in your garage or rare motorcycle down to the Club on Saturday, Aug. 28, for the first Bellevue Club Classic and Rare Car Show. From 11 a.m.-4 p.m., the parking lot will be transformed into a display of chrome rims, big block engines and gawking onlookers.
With three general categories based on model year, there will be top prizes for each class, according to Social Director Kaarin Keil. The categories include Classic (1985 and earlier), Contemporary Classic (1986-1995) and Contemporary (1996-present).
Besides beautiful automobiles, Chef Paul Marks will be firing up the grill and serving an assortment of mouth-watering dishes from his Barbecue To Go menu. Slow-cooked pulled pork, mouth-watering beef brisket and succulent spare ribs with all the gourmet fixings will be available for purchase.
Bring your family and friends down for this brand-new Bellevue Club event. Whether you enter a car of your own or simply stroll past the cars, don’t miss this classic American summer pastime.
To reserve a spot for your vehicle, contact Kaarin Keil at social@ bellevueclub.com or call 425.688.3384.
