 SOMETHING'S HEATING UPMembers prepare for Palm Desert Tennis Vacation The annual Bellevue Club Palm Desert Tennis Vacations are coming up—and not a moment too soon. “We look forward to this event every year,” says Tennis Director Brian Nash. “Tennis, friends and sunshine—what’s not to love.” Every year, members head down to Palm Desert to indulge in all things tennis for four sun-filled days. They attend clinics with top USPTA professionals at the Palm Valley Country Club. They get a Grand Slam Tennis Experience at the PGA West with grass, clay and hard courts. And to top it off, members attend the BNP Paribas Open, the sixth largest professional tournament of the year. Although playing and watching professional tennis is a large part of the agenda, it’s the friendships that have made the trip in the past. “The best part is getting everyone together and having fun,” says Brian. Kicking off the trip, members attend a welcome reception, dinner and clinic on the opening night. Because of the event’s popularity, the Bellevue Club is running two overlapping trips—Friday, March 11 to Tuesday, March 15 and Sunday, March 13 to Wednesday, March 16.
