| Community Celebrated: 2010 Wellness Fair Yoga, massage treatments and dodgeball. Wellness takes many forms at the Bellevue Club, and a mix of prominent members and guests were on hand to celebrate it this past June at the 2010 Wellness Fair. A never-ending supply of hors d’oeuvres floated around the Olympic Ballroom all day courtesy of staff members in crisp, white collars. Members giggled as they had their hands dipped in the wonderfully warm paraffin wax by a nail technician from The Spa. Warning: you might notice an over-abundance of smooth, well-moisturized handshakes this month. On the athletic side, the Club’s top junior tennis players took to the court to show the hard-serving brashness of youth during the tennis demo. Basketball players shot the lights out in the gym during the three-point shootout put on by local standouts Tommy Tomsic and Jamaal Williams. Members of all ages ducked and covered during the dodgeball games taking place every hour. And, finally, the youngest members slipped and slid all day on the inflatable bouncy slide in the gym and the fun, colorful obstacle course in the pool. Spanning generations, the 2010 Wellness Fair was a time for members to celebrate the unique community at the Bellevue Club. Plus, it’s just plain ol’ fun.
