YOUR WORKOUT, YOUR CHOICE. By Sue Matyas

Upfront PhotoYou asked for it. We listened. For those of you who want to attend more classes and are tired of paying drop-in fees for group exercise, yoga and Pilates mat classes, 2010 is going to be a good year.

The Bellevue Club is moving into a new era of fitness with the unveiling of the brand new GPX program. Starting in January, sign up for the Club’s GPX program and take almost any fitness class you want, whenever you want. For a low monthly fee—$35 for one member, $45 for multiple members on the same membership—members can now take unlimited group exercise, indoor cycling, yoga and Pilates mat classes.

While you can still choose to pay the drop-in fee per class, the savings will be considerable for anyone who likes to take two classes per week. Interested in that Zumba or hot yoga class? GPX allows you to finally explore all the fun programs you’ve read about.

To further support your overall wellness, we are teaming up with The Spa to offer huge benefits for GPX members. For the next six months, enrolled GPX members receive 30 percent off massages, facials and body treatments, and 20 percent off manicures and pedicures. Some restrictions apply. Contact The Spa at 688.3114 for more information.

While the new GPX program is a huge part of the Fitness Department’s vision for 2010, it wouldn’t have been possible without your feedback. Your thoughts and questions have been instrumental in making positive change. Both myself and Athletic Services Director Bethany Kennedy have been diligently sweating our way through the Club’s entire offering of Fitness classes to get a feel for what’s working and what’s not.

GPX logoOur vision is to create a place where we meet all your family’s fitness needs. Whether it’s the workout facility, activities, classes, special events or lessons, or a place to socialize with friends and fellow members, this Club is yours and we want to hear from you. With a spacious, bright aerobic facility and a calming yoga studio, we now can provide you with a class schedule that is cutting edge with the best instructors in the Northwest.

While the GPX program covers the majority of classes—more than 50 per week—several premier programs, such as Kinesis, Ultimate Fitness and special workshops, are not included. Be sure to check out the special GPX schedule for your weekly options.

To sign up, stop by the Membership Services Office or visit https://members.bellevueclub.com to print and fill out a GPX agreement form. Please call 688.3177 or e-mail fitness@bellevueclub.com for more information.

If you’re looking to meet a New Year’s resolution, the GPX program might be just what you’re looking for.

This year, it’s your workout, your choice with GPX.
