As the winter home to thousands of snow geese and trumpeter swans, Port Susan will hold its second Snow Goose and Birding Festival on Feb. 24 and 25. The festival has activities at four different locations: The Floyd, Stanwood House and Merrill Gardens in Stanwood, and the Four Springs Lake Preserve on Camano Island. There are guided and self-guided tours to see and learn about all kinds of birds, children’s activities and crafts, food, art shows, a wine tasting, music and lectures.
