Get a new view of the Seattle area during a ride with Olde Thyme Aviation. The company, which flies authentic, restored antique airplanes out of Boeing Field at the Museum of Flight, has 10 airplanes dating from 1927 to 1944. Flights operate on weekends when flying conditions permit, and work on a first-come, first-served basis. Gift certificates are available that allow for weekday flights, weather permitting. Most planes can take two passengers with some allowing three and one is able to carry only one passenger. Passengers are suited up to look the part in leather jackets, goggles and a cloth helmet. Flights include views of the Space Needle and Elliott Bay, Alki Point and the Duwamish head, downtown Seattle, Snoqualmie Falls and more.
